ALL ABOUT ALICE

The Evolution of

ALICE

2011 • Princess Chaos

Grunge & Gorgeous

The year I started doing drag. I was just seventeen with a passion for makeup and the artform of Drag, Inspired by Season two contestant of RuPaul’s Drag Race “Raven”

There was always this desire to create, design, and express my femininity, but it was through drag i was able to hone in on my craft and have an outlet to express myself.

FUN FACT: The First song I ever performed was “Scheibe” by Lady Gaga.

2013 • Pride Parade, Buffalo

My Rainbow is BLACK

Two years after I started I went to the Buffalo Pride Parade, and for the first time in Drag. It was EXHILARATING. It felt what I  imagine being a superstar is like.

The kindness I was shown from my city was heartwarming and gave me a sense that I was on the right path.

HONEST TEA: Not everyone in the city was convinced by my drag. Buffalo was run primarily by Pageant Queens and they did NOT feature my style.

2015 • QUEEN OF THE DAMNED

I've Never looked Worse

One of the Best nights of my life. And a busted photo to remember it.

I has spent that entire month of October preparing for the Queen of the Damned Pageant.

I won every category except talent… And I bombed so hard I didn’t think I would win.

After 12 hours in drag I was exhausted and preemptively started taking off my makeup.

Turns out… I won!

2017 • Drag Me Underground

GET YOUR DOLLARS

A Lifechanging Year. I started my own monthly show at the Underground Niteclub titled

“Drag Me Underground”

After 6 years of performing and hustling for bookings I was able to run shows my way.

I spent the next 5 years booking various talent and organizing original events!

I learned so much and I consider this the Golden Era of my Drag.

2019 • GREAT LAKES COMEDY

So You're Funny?

2019 was ELECTRIC.

After years of struggling with homelessness and drug addiction I got my own apartment and celebrated my first year of sobriety.

I won Great Lakes Comedy Queen then traveled to Florida for a National Pageant and was booked, no less than 3 times a week at various events around Buffalo NY.

I also started my business and brand,

House of Raige LLC!

2019 • House of Raige LLC

Business Woman

When I wasn’t in drag I was sewing, tailoring and creating.

I also launched my Esty store, my website, and began tailoring at Monroes Boutique. An opportunity I owe a lot of my success to

I was also building new connections with other entertainers and creating a strong network and community.

2020 • The Pandemic

Digital Drag

We all know what happens next. Everything closes. All of my bookings were rescheduled and inevitable cancelled.

Thanks to digital Drag I had a brief outlet to continue sharing my passion but it wasn’t the same as performing live.

I made a hard pivot to focus entirely on my brand and spent the next couple years sewing facemasks and building a bigger plan for my brand.

Drag shows eventually opened back up but with my growing brand I decided to take a break for a couple years.

2024 • She is Back

Pride Skate Night

It was a few years, and with much of the disruption from the pandemic behind us I booked some new shows, one of my favorites being my Pride Skate Nights.

The time spent away from drag was refreshing but I realized how much I missed it.

I now have some amazing events booked for 2026 and I look forward to travelling more and bringing my creative ideas to life!

The man behind Alice Raige

James Divine

“Hey there, Thank you for reading my about page.

Drag has been an integral part of my life since i started in 2011.

I’ve gotten to meet so many cool people and travel to a few amazing places.

There is a sense of pride I feel, in the ability to share the genuine truth of who I am. A weird misfit that just wants to create and have fun.

So much has happened in my life and drag has been the catalyst for some amazing opportunities.

I am grateful for everyone that has supported me. Thank you.”
